Consumer Math Worksheets

Welcome to our ‘Consumer Math Worksheets’!

Consumer math is the application of mathematics in everyday life involving money. It teaches students how to handle money, make informed spending decisions, and understand financial transactions. Purchasing an item or service, budgeting, calculating discounts or taxes, comparing prices, and making change are all examples of consumer math topics that are essential for everyone to learn. First, students will need to be able to identify the different US coins and bills and know their values, too. Our worksheets are designed for students in grades 1 through 5, providing a foundation in these essential skills.

We offer worksheets on identifying, sorting and counting money where students will practice recognizing and counting different denominations of coins and bills, money word problems for students to apply their math skills to real-world scenarios, making change worksheets, and are in the process of adding more!
