Fact Family Worksheets
Fact Family Worksheets
Math Fact Family Worksheets help students understand the basic relationships between numbers. A fact family is a set of 3 numbers that are related to one another either through addition and subtraction or multiplication and division.
For example, the numbers 3, 5, and 8 are a fact family which are related to one another through addition and subtraction. We can write four equations using this fact family: 3+5=8, 5+3=8, 8−5=3 and 8-3=5. A fact family related via multiplication and division is 2, 3, and 6. The four equations we can write using this fact family are 2×3=6, 3×2=6, 6÷2=3 and 6÷3=2.
