# Fact Family Worksheets

Math Fact Family Worksheets help students understand the basic relationships between numbers. A fact family is a set of 3 numbers that are related to one another either through addition and subtraction or multiplication and division.

For example, the numbers 3, 5, and 8 are a fact family which are related to one another through addition and subtraction. We can write four equations using this fact family: **3+5=8**, **5+3=8**, **8−5=3** and **8-3=5**. A fact family related via multiplication and division is 2, 3, and 6. The four equations we can write using this fact family are **2×3=6**, **3×2=6**, **6÷2=3** and **6÷3=2**.
