Ordered Pairs on a Coordinate Plane

Ordered Pairs on a Coordinate Plane

If you need practice plotting points on a graph or writing the coordinates of points already on a graph then these simple ordered pairs worksheets are for you!

Maybe you’re having a hard time remembering which number goes first in the pair. If so, just remember this: “You have to walk before you can jump.”

That means that the x-value (the distance you move left or right from the origin) comes before the y-value (the distance you move up or down). In other words, an ordered pair is always written in the form (x,y).
