Ordinal Numbers Worksheets for Kindergarten
Ordinal Numbers Worksheets for Kindergarten
Welcome to our ordinal numbers worksheets for kindergarten students! Ordinal numbers are numbers that tell us the position or order of things in a list or a sequence.
Instead of just counting how many items there are (1, 2, 3, etc.) ordinal numbers tell us which item is first, second, third, and so on.
For example, in the list of your favorite fruits, if you like apples the most, you can say “Apples are my first favorite fruit.” In this case, “first” is an ordinal number because it shows the order or position of apples in your list of favorite fruits.
In the worksheets below, your student will get practice with both choosing and writing the correct ordinal number words. Win-win! Be sure to check out our other Kindergarten Math Worksheets too!
